naming ceremonies
A new person has entered your hearts, your household, and it’s about time that they were introduced to their community too.
A naming ceremony is the non-religious equivalent of a christening. Instead of god-parents, you can appoint guide-parents, who promise to care for and support your new family member. These ceremonies aren’t only for babies – a naming ceremony is the perfect celebration to welcome an older child or teen into your family, or perhaps you’d like to celebrate the merging of two families into one. Instead of being a list of dates or places, it’s important to me that your ceremony pays tribute to and showcases your loved one’s personality, their passions, their quirks and anecdotes; essentially to celebrate them in the fullness of who they were.
Think of me as your personal storyteller, here to tell the story of your loved one’s life, honouring the true depth and breadth of who they were, what was important to them and what they lovingly leave with those that remain.

A Living Memorial is a ceremony for those who know they are nearing the end of their lives, and they would like to gather their loved ones together, in person, to celebrate their last season of life.
It’s a great opportunity to tell your loved one, in person, all the wonderful things you hold dear about them, reminisce and share both memories and funny anecdotes, hold them close, and celebrate their big brilliant life.
